रुद्रं सत्कर्मभिर्मत्या: पूजयन्तीह दैवतम्‌ । शिवमित्येव य॑ प्राहुरीशं रुद्रे पितामहम्‌

Transliteration

rudraṃ satkarmabhir matyāḥ pūjayantīha daivatam | śivam ity eva yaṃ prāhur īśaṃ rudre pitāmaham ||

Translation

马尔坎德耶说道：在此世间，人们以正行善业来礼敬鲁陀罗，奉之为神圣之力。他们只称其为“湿婆”——主宰而至上；确然，他亦如同鲁陀罗之中的“毗多摩诃”（太祖、原初之源）。
