विनिहत्य तम: सूर्य यथेहाभ्युदितं तथा । उस समय इन सबसे घिरे हुए अग्निनन्दन कार्तिकेय देवताओंद्वारा अभिषिक्त हो भाँति-भाँतिकी क्रीडाएँ करते हुए बड़ी शोभा पा रहे थे। देवताओंने सेनापति पदपर अभिषिक्त हुए कुमार महासेनको इस प्रकार देखा, मानो सूर्यदेव अन्धकारका नाश करके उदित हुए हों
vinihatya tamaḥ sūrya yathehābhyuditaṃ tathā |
摩尔坎德耶说道：“正如太阳在此破除黑暗而升起，俱摩罗·迦尔蒂迦耶——阿耆尼所钟爱的儿子——也以灿然威光显现。诸天环侍其侧，并为他行灌顶，立为统帅；他在种种天界嬉戏中愈发辉耀。诸天望见新受灌顶的摩诃塞那，恍若日神驱散长夜而再度升起。”
