Satyabhāmā’s Consolation of Draupadī
athāsya śailaśikharaṃ keśī kruddho vyavāsṛjat | tadā patantaṃ samprekṣya śailaśṛṅgaṃ śatakratuḥ ||
The verse highlights how anger (krodha) can drive one to disproportionate, destructive action; such loss of restraint becomes ethically suspect and draws the attention of higher powers, implying the need for self-control even amid conflict.
Keśī, in fury, throws a mountain-peak at his opponent; as the massive rock falls, Indra (Śatakratu) observes the dangerous turn of events.
