वैराग्यस्य च रूपं तु पूर्वमेव प्रवर्तते । मृदुर्भवत्यहड्कार: प्रसीदत्यार्जव॑ च यत्,सात््विक पुरुषमें वैराग्यका लक्षण पहले ही प्रकट हो जाता है। उसका अहंकार ढीला पड़ जाता है और सरलता प्रकाशमें आने लगती है
vairāgyasya ca rūpaṁ tu pūrvam eva pravartate | mṛdur bhavaty ahaṅkāraḥ prasīdaty ārjavaṁ ca yat ||
猎人说道：“离欲（vairāgya）的外相，往往在此前便已显现：人的我慢渐渐柔和，宁静而坦直的朴素之光开始流露。这些便是萨埵性（sāttvika）之人离著显明的标志。”
