The Origin of the Five-Colored Fiery Being and Ritual-Disruptor Lineages

Educational Q&A

Each person alone experiences the results of their own actions; deeds do not perish, and they shape one’s future condition and rebirth. Virtue leads to merit and uplift, while wrongdoing leads to degradation.

The hunter (vyādha) is instructing his listener in dharma by emphasizing karmic accountability: one cannot transfer the consequences of one’s deeds to another, and one’s actions follow one beyond this life.
