भीमसेनस्य नादेन व्यमुठ्जन्त गुहा भयात् वनमें घूमते हुए भीमसेनका बलाभिमान दीर्घकालसे बहुत बढ़ा हुआ था। उस समय उनकी सिंह-गर्जनासे महान् बलशाली गजराज और मृगराज भी भयसे अपना स्थान छोड़कर भाग गये
bhīmasenasya nādena vyamuñjanta guhā bhayāt
毗湿摩波罗耶那说：听到毗摩塞那如雷霆般的咆哮，诸洞穴皆因恐惧而被弃置。毗摩久在林中游行，自恃神力之傲日益膨胀；而就在那一刻，连强悍的象王与百兽之王——狮子——也被他狮吼般的怒声震慑，离开原处奔逃。
