अतः परं च वो राजन द्रक्ष्यन्ति वनगोचरा: । उपस्थास्यथन्ति वो राजन् रक्षिष्यन्ते च व: सदा,राजन्! अबसे इस वनमें रहनेवाले सब यक्ष तुमलोगोंकी देख-भाल करेंगे, तुम्हारी सेवामें उपस्थित होंगे और सदा तुम सब लोगोंके संरक्षणमें तत्पर रहेंगे
ataḥ paraṃ ca vo rājan drakṣyanti vanagocarāḥ | upasthāsyathanti vo rājan rakṣiṣyante ca vaḥ sadā rājan |
“自此以后,王啊,栖居并巡行于此林中的夜叉将为你们守望。他们将前来侍奉,并将恒常专意护卫你们。”
धनद उवाच
Legitimate authority and righteous conduct attract protection and support: even powerful forest-beings (Yakṣas) become guardians and attendants when dharma is upheld and proper relations are established.
Dhanada (Kubera) assures the addressed king that, from now on, the Yakṣas who inhabit the forest will watch over him, attend to his needs, and remain continually committed to his protection.
