वैशम्पायन उवाच
True greatness expresses itself as humility and reverence: Bhīma, famed for strength, considers himself blessed not by conquest but by the darśana of a venerable elder (Hanūmān). The verse highlights dharmic conduct—soft speech, gratitude, and honoring elders and the worthy.
After Hanūmān has spoken, Bhīma is filled with joy. He bows to Hanūmān—recognized as his elder brother—and addresses him with gentle words, declaring that no one is more fortunate than he because he has seen him.
