भरद्वाजस्य चोत्थानं यवक्रीतस्य चो भयो: । प्रतिष्ठां चापि वेदस्य सौरस्य द्विजसत्तम: । एवमस्त्विति तं देवा: प्रोचुश्नापि वरान् ददु:,साथ ही उन्होंने यह भी माँगा कि “भरद्वाज तथा यवक्रीत दोनों जी उठें और इस सूर्यदेवतासम्बन्धी रहस्यमय वेदमन्त्रकी प्रतिष्ठा हो।' द्विजश्रेष्ठ अर्वावसुके इस प्रकार वर माँगनेपर देवता बोले--'ऐसा ही हो।” इस प्रकार उन्होंने पूर्वोक्त सभी वर दे दिये
bharadvājasya cotthānaṃ yavakrītasya ca ubhayoḥ | pratiṣṭhāṃ cāpi vedasya saurasya dvijasattamaḥ | evam astv iti taṃ devāḥ procusn āpi varān daduḥ |
罗摩沙说道:“(他祈求)使婆罗陀婆阇复起,使耶婆克利多亦然——二人都得以复生;并且,噢,最胜的二生者,使那与太阳神相系的神圣吠陀秘学得以牢固建立,获得应有的权威。诸天答曰:‘如是。’于是他们也赐下了那些恩赐。”
लोगमश उवाच
The verse emphasizes that divine boons ideally serve dharma: they restore what is unjustly lost (reviving Bharadvāja and Yavakrīta) and uphold the rightful status of sacred knowledge (establishing the Sun-related Vedic lore).
A boon-request is being recounted: the petitioner asks for the revival of Bharadvāja and Yavakrīta and for the firm establishment of a Sun-related Vedic tradition; the gods consent—“So be it”—and grant these boons.
