पूरयस्व महाबाहो समुद्र लोकभावन । यत् त्वया सलिल॑ पीत॑ तदस्मिन् पुनरुत्सूज,“मुने! आपकी बाँहें बड़ी हैं। आप नूतन संसारकी सृष्टि करनेमें समर्थ हैं। अब आप समुद्रको फिर भर दीजिये। आपने जो इसका जल पी लिया है उसे फिर इसीमें छोड़ दीजिये”
pūrayasva mahābāho samudra lokabhāvana | yat tvayā salilaṁ pītaṁ tadasmin punar utsṛja ||
罗摩沙说道:“大臂者、护持诸世者啊,请再度充满大海。你所饮尽之水,就放回这同一片海中。”
लोगश उवाच
Great power should serve loka-hita (the welfare of the world) and must restore balance after disruption; even extraordinary acts are to be completed with responsibility toward the cosmic and social order.
Lomaśa addresses a powerful being who has drunk up the ocean’s water and urges him to refill the sea by releasing the consumed water back into it, so the world’s natural order is re-established.
