निवेदयामास तदा गृहान्‌ राज्यं च कौरव: । उस समय कुरुराजने जनार्दनकी सेवामें गौ, मधुपर्क, जल, गृह तथा राज्य सब कुछ निवेदन कर दिया

Transliteration

nivedayāmāsa tadā gṛhān rājyaṃ ca kauravaḥ |

Translation

毗舍摩波耶那说：于是，俱卢王郑重陈告，将自己的宫邸，乃至王国，都置于奎师那支配之下。此乃王者待宾之礼，意在尊奉阇那尔达那，并在政治与道义皆沉重的关头，显露顺服与善意。
