Kuntī’s Lament and Govinda’s Consolation
तैः समेत्य यथान्यायं कुरुभि: कुरुसंसदि । विदुरावसथं रम्यमुपातिष्ठत माधव:,फिर कौरवसभामें यथायोग्य सबसे मिल-जुलकर यदुवंशी श्रीकृष्णने विदुरजीके रमणीय गृहमें पदार्पण किया
taiḥ sametya yathānyāyaṃ kurubhiḥ kuru-saṃsadi | vidurāvasathaṃ ramyam upātiṣṭhata mādhavaḥ ||
在俱卢会堂中依礼与诸俱卢相见之后,摩陀婆(圣黑天)便前往毗度罗那幽美的居所。
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even within a politically charged royal court, one should act yathā-nyāyam—according to propriety and justice—and seek the company and hospitality of the righteous (Vidura), indicating ethical discernment in social and political choices.
Kṛṣṇa, after formally meeting the Kurus in their assembly, goes to stay at Vidura’s residence, a narrative move that highlights Vidura’s moral stature and frames Kṛṣṇa’s mission in the court as grounded in dharma-oriented counsel.
