अध्याय ८ — शल्यस्य सत्कारः, वरदानं, पाण्डवसमागमश्च (Śalya’s Reception, the Boon, and Meeting the Pāṇḍavas)
आजगाम सभामन्यां देवावसथवर्चसम् | स तत्र विषयैर्युक्त: कल्याणैरतिमानुषै:
ājagāma sabhām anyāṃ devāvasathavarcasaṃ | sa tatra viṣayair yuktaḥ kalyāṇair atimānuṣaiḥ ||
毗湿摩波耶那说道：随后他又来到另一座议事殿，光辉灿然，宛如诸天之居。其内陈设华美，器用精妙——吉祥而雅致，工巧之盛，超越凡人常技——昭示王权之秩序、国用之丰饶，以及经由教养而成的威势，为将临的国政决断铺陈其势。
