Dvārakāyāṃ Sāhāyya-vibhāgaḥ (Alliance Allocation at Dvārakā) / उद्योगपर्व अध्याय ७
दुर्योधन और अर्जुनका श्रीकृष्णसे युद्धके लिये सहायता माँगना “माधव! (पाण्डवोंके साथ हमारा) जो युद्ध होनेवाला है, उसमें आप मुझे सहायता दें। आपकी मेरे तथा अर्जुनके साथ एक-सी मित्रता है एवं हमलोगोंका आपके साथ सम्बन्ध भी समान ही है और मधुसूदन! आज मैं ही आपके पास पहले आया हूँ। पूर्वपुरुषोंके सदाचारका अनुसरण करनेवाले श्रेष्ठ पुरुष पहले आये हुए प्रार्थीकी ही सहायता करते हैं। जनार्दन! आप इस समय संसारके सत्पुरुषोंमें सबसे श्रेष्ठ हैं और सभी सर्वदा आपको सम्मानकी दृष्टिसे देखते हैं। अतः आप सत्पुरुषोंके ही आचारका पालन करें! ॥| १२-- १४ || श्रीकृष्ण उवाच भवानभिगतः: पूर्वमत्र मे नास्ति संशय: । दृष्टस्तु प्रथमं राजन् मया पार्थो धनंजय:,भगवान् श्रीकृष्णने कहा--राजन्! इसमें संदेह नहीं कि आप ही मेरे यहाँ पहले आये हैं, परंतु मैंने पहले कुन्तीनन्दन अर्जुनको ही देखा है
śrīkṛṣṇa uvāca | bhavān abhigataḥ pūrvam atra me nāsti saṁśayaḥ | dṛṣṭas tu prathamaṁ rājan mayā pārtho dhanaṁjayaḥ ||
圣克里希那说：“大王，毫无疑问，你先到达了我的居所。然而我最先见到的，却是帕尔塔——檀那ंज耶·阿周那。”

On the eve of war, Duryodhana and Arjuna come to Kṛṣṇa seeking support. Duryodhana argues he arrived first and should be helped first. Kṛṣṇa replies that although Duryodhana indeed arrived earlier, Kṛṣṇa’s first sight fell upon Arjuna (Pārtha), establishing Arjuna’s precedence in Kṛṣṇa’s response.
