वैशम्पायन उवाच जगाम ५ बे सो लिये तौ तेपतुस्तप: । सार्ध देवगणै: सर्वर्बहस्पतिपुरोगमै:,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--जनमेजय! ब्रह्माजीकी यह बात सुनकर इन्द्र बृहस्पति आदि सब देवताओंके साथ उस स्थानपर गये जहाँ उन दोनों ऋषियोंने तपस्या की थी
vaiśampāyana uvāca | jagāma brahmavaco śrutvā tau devagaṇaiḥ saha | sarvair bṛhaspatipurogamaiḥ yatra tau ṛṣī tapas tepetuḥ ||
毗湿摩波耶那说道:“阇那美阇耶啊,听罢梵天之言,因陀罗便与诸天众同往,由布里哈斯帕提为先导,前至二位仙人修苦行之处。”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the moral hierarchy in which divine powers heed Brahmā’s instruction and approach ascetic sages, implying that tapas and righteous counsel command respect even from the gods.
After hearing Brahmā’s words, Indra—accompanied by all the gods and led by Bṛhaspati—travels to the place where two sages are engaged in austerities.
