वव्रे चाहं वजहस्तान्महेन्द्रा- दस्मिन्‌ युद्धे वासुदेव॑ं सहायम्‌ । स मे लब्धो दस्युवधाय कृष्णो मन्ये चैतद्‌ विहितं दैवतैमें,“उस समय मैंने वज्रपाणि इन्द्रको छोड़कर इस युद्धमें भगवान्‌ श्रीकृष्णको अपना सहायक चुना था, इस प्रकार इन डाकुओंके वधके लिये मुझे श्रीकृष्ण मिल गये हैं। मालूम होता है, देवताओंने ही मेरे लिये ऐसी व्यवस्था कर रखी है

vavre cāhaṁ vajrahastān mahendrād asmin yuddhe vāsudevaṁ sahāyam | sa me labdho dasyuvadhāya kṛṣṇo manye caitad vihitaṁ daivataiḥ me ||

三阇耶说:“在这场战争中,我选择了婆苏提婆为我的助力,甚至把手执金刚的摩诃因陀罗也放在一旁。于是克里希纳来到我这里,为诛灭这些掠夺之徒;我以为这是诸天为我所作的安排。”
