मदो5ष्टादशदोष: स स्यात्‌ पुरा यो<प्रकीर्तित: । लोवदेष्यं प्रातिकूल्यमभ्यसूया मृषा वच:

madaḥ aṣṭādaśa-doṣaḥ sa syāt purā yo ’prakīrtitaḥ | lokadveṣyaṁ prātikūlyam abhyasūyā mṛṣā vacaḥ ||

萨那苏阇多阐明:傲慢之醉(mada)会化作诸多过失。其中包括:行事招致世人非议,举止违背圣典(śāstra),对贤德之人挑剔嫉妒,以及口出虚妄。
