सेनासमागमः — The Convergence of Armies

आज म्मु: पृथिवीपाला: कम्पयन्त इवाचलान्‌ । जयद्रथ आदि अन्य राजा, जो सिन्धु और सौवीरदेशके निवासी थे, पर्वतोंको कँपाते हुए-से दुर्योधनके पास आये

Vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca: ājagmuḥ pṛthivīpālāḥ kampayanta ivācalān | Jayadrathādayo 'nye rājānaḥ Sindhu-Sauvīradeśa-nivāsinaḥ parvatān kampayanta iva Duryodhanam upāgaman |

毗湿摩波耶那言:诸王为大地之守护者,来势如同震撼群山。阇耶陀罗他(Jayadratha)及其他居于信度(Sindhu)与苏毗罗(Sauvīra)之君主,挟威势与仪仗而来投杜罗约陀那,仿佛连山岳也为之战栗。此景昭示世间权力如何围绕野心聚拢,使冲突之势愈加膨胀。
