अभियास्यति मां कोपात् सम्बन्धी सुमहाबल: । हिरण्यवर्मा नृपति: कर्षमाणो वरूथिनीम्,'देवि! मेरे महाबली सम्बन्धी हिरण्यवर्मा क्रोधवश अपनी विशाल सेना लाकर मेरे ऊपर आक्रमण करेंगे
abhiyāsyati māṁ kopāt sambandhī sumahābalaḥ | hiraṇyavarmā nṛpatiḥ karṣamāṇo varūthinīm ||
毗湿摩说道:“我那力大无比的亲族——希兰耶跋摩王——将因愤怒而向我进军,列阵整军,率领其庞大军队前来攻伐。”
भीष्म उवाच
The verse highlights how anger (kopa) can override kinship bonds and propel even close relatives into violence, warning that unchecked wrath destabilizes dharma and social order.
Bhishma foresees or reports that his powerful relative, King Hiraṇyavarmā, will come in anger and march against him with a large army, signaling an escalation toward armed confrontation.
