Ambā’s Vow of Tapas after Paraśurāma’s Assessment (अम्बाया तपोव्रतनिश्चयः)
जिनका तेज कभी क्षीण नहीं होता, उन महादेवजीके वचनोंपर श्रद्धा रखनेके कारण राजा ट्रपदने उसके कन्याभावको छिपाया और पुत्र होनेकी घोषणा कर दी ।।
jātakarmāṇi sarvāṇi kārayāmāsa pārthivaḥ | puṁvad vidhāna-yuktāni śikhaṇḍīti ca tāṁ viduḥ ||
毗湿摩说道：德鲁帕达王信奉大自在天（摩诃提婆）之言，便隐瞒其女身之生，宣称为子。他又命人依照男儿之法，尽行一切诞生仪轨；于是众人皆以“尸佉ṇḍī（Shikhandi）”之名识之。
