Bhishma and Rama: Restraint and Withdrawal in the Engagement
तानुवाच ततः कन्या तपोवृद्धानृषींस्तदा । निराकृतास्मि भीष्मेण भ्रंशिता पतिधर्मत:ः
tān uvāca tataḥ kanyā tapovṛddhān ṛṣīṁs tadā | nirākṛtāsmi bhīṣmeṇa bhraṁśitā patidharmataḥ ||
于是，那少女对那些因苦行而臻于成熟的仙人们说道：“毗湿摩拒绝了我；我被剥夺了为妻之法——既失去得夫之分，也失去随之而来的尽心侍奉之责。”
