Transliteration

tato hāhākṛte loke sadevāsurarākṣase | idam antaram ity evaṁ moktukāmo 'smi bhārata ||

Translation

随后，当整个世界——连同诸天、阿修罗与罗刹——都陷入哀号惊惶之中时，我啊，婆罗多，为了抓住这短暂的间隙，正要开口陈说（并阐明当行之事）。
