यदि शक्‍्यो मया जेतुं जामदग्न्य: प्रतापवान्‌ | दैवतानि प्रसन्नानि दर्शयन्तु निशां मम,यदि प्रतापी जमदग्निकुमारको जीतना मेरे लिये सम्भव हो तो प्रसन्न हुए देवगण रात्रिमें मुझे दर्शन दें

yadi śakyo mayā jetuṃ jāmadagnyaḥ pratāpavān | daivatāni prasannāni darśayantu niśāṃ mama ||

毗湿摩说道:“若我当真能够战胜威势赫赫的阇摩达格尼之子,那么愿诸天欢喜,在夜里赐我一场显现,以为印证之兆。”
