ततो<हं शरवर्षेण महता समवाकिरम् | सच मां शरवर्षेण वर्षन्तं समवाकिरत्,तदनन्तर मैंने उनपर बाणोंकी भारी वर्षा की। फिर उन्होंने भी बाणोंकी वर्षा करनेवाले मुझ भीष्मपर बहुत-से बाण बरसाये
tato 'haṃ śaravarṣeṇa mahatā samavākiram | sa ca māṃ śaravarṣeṇa varṣantaṃ samavākirat |
于是我以滂沱箭雨倾覆于他。随即他也反击，在我—毗湿摩—正倾泻那阵箭暴之时，以自己密如骤雨的箭矢将我覆盖；战斗的狂烈在双方之间一齐升腾。
