भीष्म–रामजामदग्न्ययुद्धप्रस्थानवर्णनम्
Bhishma’s Account of Parashurama’s Challenge and the March to Kurukshetra
कौरवनरेश! उस समय परशुरामजीने अत्यन्त क्रुद्ध होकर मेरे ऊपर तुरंत ही दस हजार, लाख, दस लाख, अर्बुद, खर्ब और निखर्ब बाणोंका प्रहार किया ।।
tato 'haṃ tān api raṇe śarair āśīviṣopamaiḥ | saṃchिद्य bhūmau nṛpate pātayeyam nagān iva ||
毗湿摩说道：“俱卢之王啊！当时帕罗修罗摩盛怒至极，立刻以箭矢猛击于我——万、十万、百万，乃至阿部陀、佉部、尼佉部之数。随后，陛下，在战场上，我以自身之箭——凶厉如毒蛇——将那些箭尽皆截断，使之坠地，如林木被伐而倒。”
