तस्याहं निशितं भल्ल्लं चिक्षेप भरतर्षभ । तेनास्य धनुष: कोटिं छित्त्वा भूमावपातयम्
tasyāhaṃ niśitaṃ bhallaṃ cikṣepa bharatarṣabha | tenāsya dhanuṣaḥ koṭiṃ chittvā bhūmāv apātayam ||
于是，噢，婆罗多族中的雄牛，我向他掷出一支锋利的“婆罗”（bhalla）箭。凭此我削断了他弓的尖端，使之坠落于地——此举意在废其兵器，而非取其性命，显出在战斗所需之中仍能自持的力量。
