Transliteration

tam ahaṁ gīrbhir iṣṭābhiḥ punaḥ punar ariṁdama | ayācaṁ bhṛguśārdūlaṁ na caiva praśaśāma saḥ ||

Translation

噢，降伏仇敌者！我一再以悦人安抚之辞恳求那位“婆利古族中的猛虎”息怒；然而他丝毫不肯平静。
