एतदर्थ मया तात पज्च ग्रामा वृता: पुरा । कथं तव सुद्दुर्बुद्धे न प्रेक्षे व्यसनं महत्‌

Transliteration

etadarthaṃ mayā tāta pañca grāmā vṛtāḥ purā | kathaṃ tava suddurbuddhe na prekṣe vyasanaṃ mahat ||

Translation

“孩子啊，正因如此，我先前才只求五个村庄。愚昧迷误之人哪，我的用意不过是：不必亲眼看见大祸降临在你身上。”
