प्रेषितश्नह्वषीकेश: शमाकाड्क्षी कुरून् प्रति । कुलस्य हितकामेन धर्मराजेन धीमता,“बुद्धिमान् धर्मराजने कौरवकुलके हितकी इच्छासे शान्ति चाहनेवाले भगवान् श्रीकृष्णको कौरवोंके पास भेजा था
sañjaya uvāca | preṣitaś ca hṛṣīkeśaḥ śamākāṅkṣī kurūn prati | kulasya hitakāmena dharmarājena dhīmatā ||
三阇耶说道:“睿智的法王(达摩罗阇)为求俱卢族的福祉、为求和解,派遣赫利希凯沙(奎师那)为使者前往俱卢诸人。”
संजय उवाच
Even when conflict seems inevitable, dharma first demands sincere efforts toward peace and the welfare of the wider community (kula). A righteous ruler prioritizes reconciliation and moral legitimacy before resorting to war.
Sañjaya reports that Yudhiṣṭhira (Dharmarāja), intent on peace and the good of the Kuru family, sends Kṛṣṇa (Hṛṣīkeśa) to the Kuru/Kaurava side as a diplomatic messenger to seek a settlement.
