सर्वे निवारयामासुर्देवापेरभिषेचनम् । उन्होंने देवापिके मंगलके लिये सभी आवश्यक कृत्य सम्पन्न कराये; परंतु उस समय सब ब्राह्मणों तथा वृद्ध पुरुषोंने नगर और जनपदके लोगोंके साथ आकर देवापिका राज्याभिषेक रोक दिया
sarve nivārayāmāsur devāper abhiṣecanam |
风神（Vāyu）说道：“众人齐起，共同阻止了提婆阿毗（Devāpi）的灌顶加冕（abhiṣeka）。虽已备妥其登位所需的一切吉祥仪轨，然当时诸婆罗门与诸长老——并城中百姓与乡野之民——一同前来，终使加冕之礼中止。”
