三阇耶说道:“在梦中,我见无量威力的坚战(尤迪希提罗)端坐于白骨堆上,欢然从金钵中食用拌有酥油的乳粥。”

The verse frames a moral paradox: even a dharmic king’s future prosperity can be shadowed by the human cost of war. The dream functions as an ethical warning that victory and enjoyment may rest upon widespread death, urging reflection on responsibility, consequence, and the tragic price of conflict.
Sanjaya reports a dream-vision in which he sees Yudhiṣṭhira sitting atop a pile of bones and happily eating ghee-rich rice pudding from a golden bowl. As an omen within Udyoga Parva’s pre-war atmosphere, it foreshadows massive slaughter alongside the eventual royal success and abundance associated with Yudhiṣṭhira.
