Kṛṣṇa’s Conciliatory Address to Karṇa
अलं युद्धेन तैवीरि: शाम्य त्वं कुरुवृद्धये । मा गम: ससुतामात्य: सबलश्न यमक्षयम्
alaṁ yuddhena tair vīraiḥ śāmya tvaṁ kuru-vṛddhaye | mā gamaḥ sa-sutāmātyaḥ sa-balaś ca yamākṣayam, rājan ||
毗湿摩说道：“与那些英雄交战，已然足矣。为使俱卢一族兴盛安泰，当与般度诸勇士讲和。大王啊，切莫携子嗣、群臣与军旅，奔赴阎摩那不朽之境——此番争斗，死亡于你并无所得。”
