दुर्योधन यदाह त्वां पिता भरतसत्तम | भीष्मो द्रोण: कृप: क्षत्ता सुहृदां कुरु तद् वच:,“भरतश्रेष्ठ दुर्योधन! तुम्हारे पिता, पितामह भीष्म, आचार्य द्रोण, कृपाचार्य और विदुर तुमसे जो कुछ कहते हैं, अपने इन सुहृदोंकी वह बात मान लो
vaiśampāyana uvāca | duryodhana yad āha tvāṃ pitā bharatasattama | bhīṣmo droṇaḥ kṛpaḥ kṣattā suhṛdāṃ kuru tad vacaḥ ||
毗湿摩波耶那说道：“杜尤陀那啊，婆罗多族之俊杰，遵从那些真心为你着想的长者之言吧——你的父王、祖父毗湿摩、德罗那、克利波与毗度罗。接纳这些友人的劝诫，因为他们所言皆为你的利益。”
