Duryodhana’s Reply in the Kuru Assembly

घुष्यतां राजधानीषु सर्वसम्पन्महीक्षिताम्‌ । पृथिवी भ्रातृभावेन भुज्यतां विज्वरो भव

Transliteration

ghuṣyatāṁ rājadhānīṣu sarva-sampan-mahīkṣitām | pṛthivī bhrātṛ-bhāvena bhujyatāṁ vijvaro bhava ||

Translation

毗湿摩波罗衍那说道：“当在一切富庶诸王的都城中宣告：拘卢族的俱卢婆与般度族的般度婆之间的争端已然止息，诸事皆以相互善意而了结。随后，你与坚战（Yudhiṣṭhira）当以兄弟之情，同享并共治此国，均分其权与乐——从此摆脱那如热病般的忧惧。”
