सर्वे स्वाध्यायवन्तो हि सर्वे च चरितव्रता: । सर्वे चाभिमुखा: क्षीणास्तत्र का परिदेवना

sarve svādhyāyavanto hi sarve ca caritavratāḥ | sarve cābhimukhāḥ kṣīṇās tatra kā paridevanā ||

毗度罗说:“他们全都勤于诵习吠陀,全都守持严谨誓戒;并且全都在战场上迎敌而终。既如此,又何必哀号?”
