Yuddha-yajña-vyākhyāna (The Battle as Sacrifice): Ambarīṣa–Indra Saṃvāda
यस्य वेदिरुपस्तीर्णा तस्य लोका यथा मम । जिसके युद्ध-यज्ञकी वेदी नीले चमड़ेकी बनी हुई म्यानके भीतर रखी जानेवाली तलवारों तथा परिघके समान मोटी-मोटी भुजाओंसे बिछ जाती है
yasya vedir upastīrṇā tasya lokā yathā mama |
安婆梨沙说:“其战祭(yajña)之坛(vedi)铺陈得当者——以藏于青皮鞘中的利剑,与粗壮如铁杠(parigha)之臂为其铺设——便得与我同等之诸界。”
अम्बरीष उवाच
Properly performed, duly prepared ritual action—done in accordance with dharma—leads to definite spiritual results; attainment of higher realms is linked to right conduct and correct performance rather than mere claim or status.
Ambarīṣa speaks about the fruit of a correctly prepared sacrificial altar, asserting that whoever completes the rite with due preparation attains the same exalted worlds that he himself attained.
