जुद्वानोडग्निं यथाकालमुभौ कालावुपस्पृशन् | कृश: परिमिताहारश्चर्मचीरजटाधर:,दोनों समय स्नान करके यथासमय अग्निहोत्र करूँगा और परिमित आहार करके शरीरको दुर्बल कर दूँगा। मृगचर्म तथा वल्कल वस्त्र धारण करके सिरपर जटा रखूँगा
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | juhvāno 'gnim yathākālam ubhau kālāv upaspṛśan | kṛśaḥ parimitāhāraś carmacīrajāṭādharaḥ ||
尤提希提罗说道：“我将于规定的两时沐浴，并在适当的时辰行阿耆尼霍多罗（祭火供献）。我将节制饮食，直至形体消瘦。披鹿皮、着树皮衣，头顶结发（jaṭā），以此奉行苦行之严整戒律。”
