Discourse on Wealth and Royal Duty
एवं राजकुलाद् वित्त पृथिवीं प्रति तिष्ठति । प्राचीनकालमें जो राजर्षि हो गये हैं
evaṁ rājakulād vittam pṛthivīṁ prati tiṣṭhati | prācīna-kāle ye rājarṣayo gatāḥ, ye ca sāmprataṁ svarge nivasanti, teṣām api mate rāja-dharmasyaivam eva vyākhyā kṛtā—yathā pūrṇād mahāsāgarād jalāni megha-rūpeṇotthāya sarvā diśo varṣanti, tathā rājabhyo nirgataṁ dhanaṁ sarvāṁ pṛthivīṁ vyāpnoti ||
阿周那说：“因此，财富从王族之家流出，终归安布于大地。古之王仙（rajarṣi）——先我而去、今居天界者——亦如此阐释君王之责：正如满溢的大海之水化为云气，遍向四方降雨；同样，财货自诸王流出，散布于整个大地。”
