Chapter 72 — Royal Duty: protection of subjects, taxation, punishment, and appointments
मा स्म ते ब्राह्मणं दृष्टवा धनस्थ॑ प्रचलेन्मन: । अन्त्यायामप्यवस्थायां किमु स्फीतस्थ भारत
mā sma te brāhmaṇaṁ dṛṣṭvā dhanasthaḥ pracalen manaḥ | antyāyām apy avasthāyāṁ kimu sphītastha bhārata bharatanandana ||
毗湿摩说道：“噢，婆罗多啊，婆罗多族之荣光——见到富足的婆罗门时，切莫让你的心起波动而生夺取其财之念。纵使你陷入极端贫困，此克制亦当坚守；何况当你自身丰足之时，更应如此。”
