राजवृत्त-रक्षा-प्रणिधि-षाड्गुण्योपदेशः
Royal Conduct, Protection, Intelligence, and Policy Measures
सर्व वैनयिकं कृत्वा विनयज्ञो बृहस्पतिम् । दक्षिणानन्तरो भूत्वा प्रणम्य विधिपूर्वकम्,राजा वसुमना सम्पूर्ण लोकोंके हितमें तत्पर रहनेवाले थे। वे विनय प्रकट करनेकी कलाको जानते थे। बृहस्पतिजीके आनेपर उन्होंने उठकर उनका अभिवादन किया और चरणप्रक्षालल आदि सारा विनयसम्बन्धी बर्ताव पूर्ण करके महर्षिकी परिक्रमा करनेके अनन्तर उन्होंने विधिपूर्वक उनके चरणोंमें मस्तक झुकाया। फिर प्रजाके सुखकी इच्छा रखते हुए राजाने धर्मशील बृहस्पतिसे राज्यसंचालनकी विधिके विषयमें इस प्रकार प्रश्न उपस्थित किया
Bhīṣma uvāca: sarva-vainayikaṃ kṛtvā vinaya-jño bṛhaspatim | dakṣiṇānantaro bhūtvā praṇamya vidhi-pūrvakam ||
毗湿摩说道：“那位国王通晓礼仪与谦恭之道，对布里哈斯帕提行尽一切恭迎之礼。他立于其右，完成诸般规定的敬礼之后，依仪次俯首顶礼，叩拜于足下。怀着济世安民之心，愿臣民得乐，国王遂向正直的布里哈斯帕提请问治国理政的正法。”
