राजा-दैवतत्वम् — The King as a Stabilizing ‘Daivata’ (Divine Function) in Social Order

गोप्ता तस्माद्‌ दुराधर्ष: स्मितपूर्वांभिभाषिता । आभाषिततश्च मधुरं प्रत्याभाषेत मानवान्‌

goptā tasmād durādharṣaḥ smitapūrvam abhibhāṣitā | ābhāṣitaś ca madhuraṁ pratyābhāṣeta mānavān |

毗湿摩说道:“因此,得民众扶持,国王便成坚固之护持者——难以攻破,足以守护臣民。王当先以微笑与人言;百姓若与之陈说或有所请问,王亦当以甘美而恭和之辞答之。如此,温厚之行与悦耳之言,便成为王道与民利之器。”
