Varṇāśrama-ācāra and Vikarma: Yudhiṣṭhira’s Inquiry on Safe Dharmas (शिवधर्मप्रश्नः)
भरणं पुत्रदाराणां वेदानां धारणं तथा । वसतामाश्रमं श्रेष्ठ वदन्ति परमर्षय:
bharaṇaṃ putradārāṇāṃ vedānāṃ dhāraṇaṃ tathā | vasatām āśramaṃ śreṣṭha vadanti paramarṣayaḥ ||
毗湿摩说：“至高的圣贤宣示，有两种职责最为首要：以正当之资养育子嗣与妻室；并以学习与守护来维系吠陀。对奉行阿湿罗摩戒律而居者而言，此二者被称颂为行为之最上根基。”
