अदित्या: सप्तधा त्वं तु पुराणो गर्भतां गत: । पृश्चिगर्भस्त्वमेवैकस्त्रियुगं त्वां वदन्त्यपि
adityāḥ saptadhā tvaṃ tu purāṇo garbhatāṃ gataḥ | pṛścigarbhas tvam evaikas triyugaṃ tvāṃ vadanty api ||
毗舍摩波耶那说：“你这位太古之主，曾以七种不同形相进入阿底提（Aditi）之胎。唯有你被称为‘普利什奇伽尔婆’（Pṛścigarbha）；又因你贯穿三世（三个时代）而示现，学者亦称你为‘三世者’（Triyuga）。”
