Righteous rule begins with humility and reverence: even after gaining sovereignty, Yudhiṣṭhira approaches Kṛṣṇa with folded hands, indicating that political power must be guided by dharma and wise counsel rather than pride.
After his coronation and accession to the kingdom, Yudhiṣṭhira respectfully addresses Kṛṣṇa for an extended period (ten days), setting the stage for instruction and reflection on governance, ethics, and the duties of a king in the aftermath of war.
