Dharma after loss is expressed through gratitude and responsible action: honoring the departed with proper rites and transforming grief into compassionate public welfare (charity that benefits many).
After the war, Yudhiṣṭhira arranges the aurdhvadehika/śrāddha rites for all his well-wishers and supports their memory by commissioning charitable works such as rest-houses, water-stations, and ponds.
