परचक्रोपरोधे च दुष्टानां चावमर्दने । युधिष्ठिरो महाराज फाल्गुनं व्यादिदेश ह,महाराज! शत्रुओंके देशपर चढ़ाई करने और दुष्टोंका दमन करनेके कार्यमें युधिष्ठिरने अर्जुनको नियुक्त किया

Transliteration

paracakroparodhe ca duṣṭānāṃ cāvamardane | yudhiṣṭhiro mahārāja phālgunaṃ vyādideśa ha ||

Translation

毗湿摩波耶那说：在抵御敌军、镇压奸恶之事上，大王坚战任命法尔古那（阿周那）主掌其责。
