Transliteration

tam anvagād rathī khaḍgī baddha-godhāṅgulitravān | karṇaḥ śastrabhṛtāṃ śreṣṭhaḥ pṛṣṭhataḥ puruṣarṣabha puruṣottama ||

Translation

那罗陀说道：随即，迦尔纳——诸持兵者之最——从后追随。他乘车而行，手执长剑，臂甲与指护皆已系紧，紧随杜尤陀那而去。此景凸显其忠贞与临战之备，同时也预示：为一桩或许违背达摩的事业效命，必将引出道义的张力。
