#दघ2८5-> (9) शीला - 'उज्छ: कणश आदानं कणिशाद्यर्जनं शिलम् ।' कटे हुए खेतसे वहाँ गिरे हुए अन्नके दाने बीनकर लाना अथवा बाजार उठ जानेपर वहाँ बिखरे हुए अनाजके एक-एक दानेको बीन लाना “उज्छ” कहलाता है। इसी तरह धान
Āścaryaṁ nātra saṁdehaḥ, suprīto ’smi bhujaṅgama; anvarthopagatair vākyaiḥ panthānaṁ cāsmi darśitaḥ.
婆罗门说道:“此中并无可惊之处,亦无疑惑。噢,蛇中王者,我甚为欢喜。凭你之言——切当而契合其旨——你也为我指示了正道。”
ब्राह्मण उवाच
The verse highlights receptivity to good counsel: when guidance is meaningful and aligned with its purpose (anvārtha), it can ‘show the path’—i.e., clarify the right course of dharma and practice.
The Brahmin addresses the serpent king with gratitude, saying he has no doubt and feels pleased, because the serpent’s well-chosen words have indicated the proper path forward (in context, the Brahmin’s resolve regarding his vow/practice and his departure).
