सो<हं तस्य प्रसादेन देवस्य हरिमेधस: । अपान्तरतमा नाम ततो जातो<७ज्ञया हरे: । पुनश्च जातो विख्यातो वसिष्ठकुलनन्दन:

Transliteration

so ’haṁ tasya prasādena devasya harimedhasaḥ | apāntaratamā nāma tato jāto ’jñayā hareḥ | punaś ca jāto vikhyāto vasiṣṭhakulanandanaḥ vyāsa-nāmnā ||

Translation

毗湿摩波耶那说：“承那位神圣主宰——智不衰竭的哈利——之恩，我昔日曾以‘阿般陀罗多摩’之名降生。如今又奉同一位圣哈利之命，再度出世，名闻天下为‘毗耶娑’，乃瓦西什塔一族之荣光。”
