Creation is presented as intentional and structured: the Lord directs Brahmā to generate all beings from different limbs, implying a cosmos where diversity of roles and forms arises from a single divine source and is meant to function in harmony under dharma.
Vaiśaṃpāyana reports a command addressed to Brahmā—called “son”—to create all creatures from the mouth and also from the feet; in the broader passage, Nārāyaṇa is the supreme deity who manifests Brahmā and commissions him to undertake the work of creation.
